Development of PVDF particles

PVDF pellets are a polyethylene material. It can be in the form of powder or white granules. It has good weather resistance. Because it is made of polyethylene, it also has good chemical resistance. Due to these excellent post-processing properties and good temperature resistance, products made from PVDF particles have better performance. PVDF particles can also be used in the design of metal curtain walls and skylight roofs of large buildings, becoming an important material for more and more construction projects and decoration materials.
PVDF particles, polyvinylidene fluoride, appear as translucent or white powder or particles, with tightly arranged molecular chains, strong hydrogen bonds, oxygen index 46%, non-flammable, crystallinity 65%~78%, density 1.77~1.80g/cm3, melting point 172℃, heat distortion temperature 112~145℃, long-term use.

  PVDF particle characteristics:

PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) has the characteristics of strong toughness, low friction coefficient, strong corrosion resistance, aging resistance, good weather resistance and good radiation resistance among fluoroplastics.

    1. Injectable and extrudable fluorinated resin (commonly known as thermoplastic Teflon).

    2. Excellent chemical resistance.

    3. Wear-resistant, high mechanical strength and toughness.

    4. Weatherproof, UV and nuclear radiation resistant.

    5. Good heat resistance and high dielectric strength.

PVDF particles are used for: chemical-resistant parts, wires and cables, etc.

PVDF granule molding conditions: Drying: No need to dry the original packaging.

    PVDF particle injection temperature: 180 ~ 230℃

    PVDF particle mold temperature: 60 ~ 90℃

    Extrusion temperature: 180 ~ 265℃

    Mold:66~140℃

Main uses: PVDF particles have excellent acid resistance, processability, and fatigue and stress relaxation relief. They are raw materials for integral or lined pumps, gate valves, pipes, fittings, tanks and heat exchangers in fluid mechanics solutions systems for petrochemical equipment. PVDF granular epoxy resin is used to make porous structural membranes, adhesives, separators, etc. For use in lithium rechargeable batteries. Currently the main application becomes PVDF granules which need faster sales to the market.
The application of PVDF particles in chemical plant anti-corrosion has advantages that other fluorine epoxy resins cannot match. On the one hand, polyvinylidene fluoride PVDF particles have high thermal conductivity, excellent solvent resistance, water washing resistance, UV resistance, radiation hazard resistance and aging resistance. On the other hand, it also has excellent properties in fluorine epoxy resins. The high tensile strength, shrinkage compressive strength and excellent production and processing characteristics make it a very good choice for film insulation materials.
On the other hand, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) particle piezoelectric plastic film is a sensitive raw material for this new polymer material, making vinylidene fluoride and prepolymers commonly used ferroelectric polymer raw materials in scientific research at this stage. In electric actuators , controllers, memory chips, simulated whole body muscles and microfluidics have market prospects.
